this highly decorative sword pommel
Silver embellished with Filigree & Garnett
is typical of high status
Anglo Saxon workmanship
of the 7th Century AD.
The first to be found in this area.
To the finder. He added
"This is quite simply treasure
"Thank you for coming today,
finding and declaring it.

THIS COIN IS THOUGHT TO BE THE
OLDEST ROMAN COIN FOUND IN WALES.The tiny silver coin was handed to the Portable Antiquities Scheme
who identified it as dating from the second century BC.
It is believed to have been brought over some time after the Roman invasion of Britain
in 43 AD, or during earlier visits in the first century BC.

is from Artillery Militia 1856 to 1878
Only worn on the Busby.The Busby was discontinued in 1878 to be replaced by a helmet.
